I just want to point out that we don’t have any entries yet! the deadline is in 11 days, so if you’re interested you should start writing soon!!!!
so…I only received one entry. I’m going to extend the deadline for a couple of days, as I didn’t realize you can’t send links through asks. if you have written a story, you DM me the link through twitter, use (ugh) fanmail, or ask me for my email through the askbox.

That’s right! In honor of Femslash February, we at pureponypleasure (even though there’s only one person who runs this blog :s) are holding a bit of a contest - a fanfiction contest, to be precise! We’re partnering with fuckyeahrarity, hats-and-horses, twilightsparklesharem, colortwelve (of cute-gay-poni), and ziddia (of fyeahshipping) for the biggest event of the month! (you know, probably)
the rules are simple!
- Write a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fanfic. The fanfic must involve a romantic (or sexual) relationship between at least two female characters.
- The fanfic shouldn’t be longer than 1000 words! we have to judge all of them, remember.
- Sexual situations are allowed but straight clop isn’t gonna win! you gotta have feelings (besides eros). excessive violence probably won’t win either, mostly because it makes me queasy :S
- after you’ve completed your masterpiece, upload it to Google Docs, and then drop the link in my askbox. don’t use fanmail! fanmail is stupid. also don’t just submit it. that is silly. if you can’t use google docs for whatever reason, tell me and we’ll try to sort something out. please don’t submit it anonymously, we’ll have no idea who you are in case you win!
- After we’ve reached the deadline, I’ll deliberate with the judges (listed above). we’re going to use a point system where we choose our top five, which get 5-4-3-2-1 points respectively. the top three in points win FABULOUS PRIZES!
- The deadline is 11:59:00 PM EST on February 28. all entries must be in by then! I will close my askbox at that time. you have about twenty days. judging will last likely no more than a week or so, and then we’ll announce the winners!
- You don’t have to be following me to enter, but I do like followers if you want to! it won’t affect judging though.
I did mention fabulous prizes above! fuckyeahrarity was kind enough to donate some prizes for the contest.
- First place will receive their choice of a Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie plush, a Crystal blind bag, and a set of lovely hair thingies! I think they’re barrettes!
- Second place will receive the other plush as well as a Crystal blind bag!
- Third place will receive a Crystal blind bag!
